Fatigue
Are you tired? If the answer is yes, you’re not alone. I see patients for all kinds of things, but the most common complaint is most definitely fatigue. About 90% of the patients I see are tired, if not all day, every day, then every afternoon or evening. Unfortunately, the solution for most is caffeine, which over time will make you more tired. It often stops working the way you want leaving you with fruitless doctor visits.
Common reasons for fatigue:
- Adrenal fatigue
- Nutrient deficiencies
- Blood sugar disorders
- Food sensitivities
- Toxicity
- Hypothyroidism
- Mold
- Insomnia
- Other Chronic Illness
Most people think they’re tired because they are getting older. If it were a part of aging then everyone would get tired as they got older and that is not the case.
Out of necessity I have become an expert at treating fatigue. Fatigue does not normally come alone. At Wellness Architecture, we address ALL your symptoms. Both physical and mental. 7 Reasons you may be feeling tired
If you are tired a lot, you know what it’s like to be an energy chaser. And if you’re a mother, you definitely know what I mean. My kids are 8,11 and 14. So I’m not in the early stages of motherhood anymore, but I remember how it felt to be counting the minutes until they would go to bed or take a nap. Or think, “I must not like playing with my kids!” I used to think this and then I realized that when I did have lots of energy, it was just that I was tired!! It was a relief, but also a frustration that I had spent so much time struggling. What is the number one reason for fatigue in most people now? Men AND women?
